Welcome to the website for the Frimley GP Training Programme
Apologies for the recent down-time... Microsoft have been getting all hosted websites moved to a new set of servers and, since they are such a small company, they make you do it yourself with the aid of a YouTube video. One step that was meant to take 15 minutes to verify took 6 days....
I'll sort glitches asap

Frimley VTS is a long-established GP training programme based at the hospitals & GP practices on the Surrey-Hampshire-Berkshire border (Camberley-Farnborough-Aldershot-Farnham area).
Our main Post-Graduate Medical Education Centre is at Frimley Park Hospital and we co-ordinate the GP training programme for over 50 doctors.
You can read a general overview of the local training programme
here.
The GP Faculty Trainee's Handbook can be downloaded here
We are part of
KSS GP Deanery and all recruitment & transfers are through the National GP Recruitment website.
Applications for the August 2013 programmes open in November 2012
We also value our partnership with the Defence Medical Services and host several Military trainees in our practices.
Why choose Frimley VTS?
We work hard to earn a reputation as a VTS (and a Hospital) that looks after trainees
We have a structured programme that supports our trainees in achieving MRCGP
We genuinely work as a team - trainees, training practices, GPs, consultants
Our trainees have fun and achieve well!
This website aims to provide information for prospective trainees, our current trainees and also for GP Trainers (from far and wide, looking for that "need to know nugget"!)
Feedback is always appreciated.
